I work in btc mining. got injured off the job, can't work, and can't stack sats. I have career fomo and it's driving me crazy.

Without giving too many details, bitcoin mining is good business right now. During my time off, I hurt my foot and cannot get back to work until maybe November (Doctor's orders), but this entire time I thought I would be able to work in a couple of weeks (emergency room prognosis).

The company that I work for has hired a lot of new personnel recently, and the sites that they manage and business that they do grew like crazy in the past 30 days.

I will inevitably have to sell some btc to survive, and, to me, that is not a major issue. The part that makes me sad is seeing the company I work for grow without me.

Sorry if this is irrelevant. I just want to vent a bit.

EDIT: I sustained an ankle injury that resulted in a "lateral malleolus fracture." The orthopedic doctor I saw told me that this is basically gonna take 4 or 5 months after the date of my injury taking place to be able to do all movement necessary to do my job. My bones are getting reliably back in to place, the real problem is the cartilage in that part of my leg.

Imgur album of x-ray images:
https://imgur.com/a/7186fiy - the image with the blue arrow pointing at the little white line on my left leg's malleolus bone is what i believe shows the fracture. I can walk on it and put weight on it, but it's not a good idea to do so, and if I do it too much, I can make the problem worse.

EDIT 2: I'm not in the worst situation, so don't feel too sorry for me. I'm living with my parents after going abroad for a decade (only been back for 4 months now) and if this didn't happen, I would've moved out and gotten my own apartment in October. It might also be possible for me to work as an Uber driver in a week or two while I wait for a full recovery and then go back to my original job mining btc. submitted by /u/sgtslaughterTV
